At Church at Red River, you can expect to find real people, real answers, and be accepted and loved for who you are. We all have our own individual stories, experiences, tragedies and victories, and we’ve been shaped by them all. It’s these differences that make up the Church at Red River family.
What kind of church are you?
Church at Red River is a contemporary, biblically-driven and exciting place where you can meet God and get involved in His purposes. If you haven’t visited, we invite you to discover for yourself that we’re a place where you can experience God’s presence, and savor all that’s good about life. We’re a family and we love coming together.
What is a typical Sunday service like?
You’ll find a positive, upbeat worship experience. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The music is modern and bright. The messages are practical and meaningful. Our weekend services are designed to bring a lift to every believer and unchurched person in attendance. Believers at C@RR can feel confident in bringing those who are unchurched, without the concern of being embarrassed or offending someone with anything unusual or uncomfortable. Our services are easy to understand, even if you’ve never been to church.
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
As our guest, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many folks want to check out the church and blend in for awhile – and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. After the service, be sure to stop by our Guest Table and receive a welcome gift. It’s our way of saying “Thank you for worshipping with us today. We’re so glad you’re here!”
How should I dress?
Any way you want! More casual than formal, more tee-shirts than ties, more jeans than anything. Come comfortable and be relaxed, because C@RR is not about what you look like or wear. But if you want to come in your Sunday best, that would be cool, too!
What do you have for my kids?
Your children, birth – 5th grade, are invited to be a part of our Red River Kidz children’s services in beautiful, kid-friendly rooms with experiences designed especially for each grade level. Sign your kids up at the table with the big bouquets of balloons – at the end of the main foyer.
Do you have a mid-week service?
We currently do not have a mid-week service. However, we encourage everyone to get connected to one of the many ongoing small group opportunities throughout the week.
How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. The first step is attending a Newcomer’s Reception at Pastor Troy’s and Anna Joy’s home. These are scheduled frequently throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to get acquainted with the pastor and other newcomers in a relaxed and casual setting. We then encourage you to begin the journey around the Growth Track.
